All bedrooms here at Critchill Court are furnished to a high standard, and have ground floor access. Many of our residents personalise their rooms by adding additional personal furnishing. Some rooms are equipped with en-suite facilities and all are fitted with a nurse call system. Bedrooms are single rooms, although we may be able to arrange shared accommodation if desired. The dining room and many bedrooms overlook a large courtyard at the centre of Critchill Court, the pond and flower beds can be seen through the picture windows. Residents and their guests are free to use the lounges, dining area and courtyard as they wish.
We have a dedicated area within our home that provides safety and security for residents living with dementia. The suite has been designed to provide our residents with the freedom to live as independent lives as possible within the security and comfort of the home. This area also includes a private, enclosed level area of garden for our residents to enjoy. Our staff are specifically trained in this specialised care, so they understand the needs of our residents and can support them accordingly.
Gold Standards Framework Award
Critchill Court has been awarded the Gold Standards Framework for their support given to people nearing end of life. The award is presented to care homes so that they can identify the people who need this special care at this time of their life, assessing what they need and planning their care and support in conjunction with them, their families and carers. When you or someone you love are nearing the end of your life you deserve the best possible standard of care, which means high quality, reliable and consistent support.
