Calway House is situated in a quiet residential area, just a mile from the centre of Taunton; a town with varied shopping and leisure amenities.
Our home is modern yet beautiful, surrounded by lovely garden areas. Many visitors comment on how light and airy our home is. We have recently benefitted from a new extension which opened earlier this year which offers another 9 attractive, large bedrooms; 3 on each floor with an intimate lounge for each new area.
Our home is designed in groups of 15 rooms, with each group having its own lounge and dining facilities, offering a homely atmosphere in a convenient location. All of our bedrooms are furnished to a high standard, and many of our residents choose to personalise their room by bringing in additional furniture and other personal items. The accommodation consists of spacious single rooms, all with en-suite shower rooms and toilets. Ground floor rooms have patio doors giving direct access to private patio areas and shared landscaped gardens.

Gold Standards Framework Award
Calway House has been awarded Platinum status in the Gold Standards Framework for their support given to people nearing the end of life. The award is presented to care homes that can identify the people who need this special care at this time of their life, assessing what they need and planning their care and support in conjunction with them, their families and carers. When you or someone you love are nearing the end of your life, you deserve the best possible standard of care, which means high quality, reliable and consistent support.
