Rowden House colleagues tie the knot
Two of our colleagues recently tied the knot, having met, and worked alongside each other, for the past three and a half years, at Rowden House, our respite and residential care home.
On Saturday 20th April of this year, Kylie and Mark got married, surrounded by friends and family. Kylie is a Carer at our Frome-based care home, while Mark works within the Kitchen Team.
A Somerset Care family affair
Kylie surprised the residents at Rowden House, by visiting them on her way to her ceremony, accompanied by her daughter, who was a flower girl, and her doting parents. Kylie looked sensational in her beautiful white wedding gown, accompanied with a bouquet made up of white and yellow roses, to complement the bridal party’s cheerful navy and yellow theme.
The residents were overjoyed to have shared a part of Kylie’s special day with her, taken away with how beautiful she looked and basking in the excitement before she was due to walk up the aisle. It was incredibly touching for Kylie to include those she cares for on her big day, showing what a special bond she carries with the residents at Rowden House.
Who knew that when Kylie and Mark began working at Somerset Care, that not only would their careers flourish, but their love for each other would blossom too.
We wish Kylie and Mark a lifetime of happiness and good health together, as well as a magical time on their honeymoon.
