Braving 350 miles in 31 days to raise funds for Pulsford Lodge
Pulsford Lodge’s Night Supervisor, Laura Reed, is running and cycling an impressive 350 miles in just 31 days to raise money for the care home. In the current weather and with limited hours of light, this is no easy task.
Laura's motivation is to raise funds for the home to go towards additional fun and activities for the residents and staff to enjoy during the Christmas period. After an incredibly testing year, Laura feels this will be a welcomed boost for all at Pulsford Lodge, and hopes it will be well received by residents’ loved ones, who can take comfort in knowing residents are being so well looked after and entertained.
Laura has been putting the miles in since 22nd November, and is due to complete on the 22nd December. As of the 10th December, she was excelling at her ambitious target, having already completed an impressive 217 miles.
To ensure Laura’s efforts are rewarded, she relies on kind donations. Should you wish to contribute to the Pulsford Lodge fund, please get in touch with the home directly by calling 01984 623569 and ask to speak to Allie or Sarah to arrange a donation.
